Can I just geek for a second over how this photoset showcases some delightfully anvilicious camerawork in those last three images? Suddenly, compared to many of the earlier shots, Spock and Kirk are balanced in the frame. Neither is given the foreground or more dynamic positioning; they’re of equal height and visual importance in the shot. The visuals work thematically to show us how perfectly in tune these characters are, and the contrast in how the two are filmed drives home the shift in their relationship. (Anvils everywhere! Delicious and great for vidding. And photosets.)
